The late Malcolm McLaren (may he rest in peace) definitely had a huge influence on much more than the punk-rock, a post-punk movements. Dj Premiere blatantly gets this across to us with this mix. Featuring music that McLaren was directly involved with, as well as music that was fueled by his synergy. This mix is quite unique as it features a rare interview with McLaren talking about his experience with what was a very young hip-hop movement coming out of South Brooklyn, and his first encounter with hip-hop forefather Afrika Bambaataa. Pass this mix along, as much as it is nostalgic, it really marks one of the many legacy's left behind by Malcolm McLaren.
