This is really about the contrast of cute faces and clumsy eye wear in an era where really anything can be mashed together and you're like automatically cool. The trend is so ridiculous, girls who don't even need glasses rock these vintage specs even without lenses. Old school vintage lenses were pretty crazy looking, making people look like fish-eyed zombies. The technology just wasn't there yet. Which is why you'd have to pop the lenses out, because you'd probably damage your vision if you weren't already walking into things from a lack of depth perception. I'm not hating on this 100% 'cause some girls can really pull this off if they don't take the rest of their look back on a chesterfield time machine when gramms was a floosey. Geek, c'est Chic is a pic adventure with some don'ts and don't mind if i do's. Definitely here to stay.
