I'm going to start to post quality podcasts you should all be listening to, so this is a great start! Vancouver based Hexadecibel (HXBD) has been making his way into many peoples eardrums with deep and lush tunes that yield to a higher standard than your average banger that we're all too familiar with. Expect interesting, warm, melodic tunes that drift from UK garage type drum sequences to 2 step, with rich melodies and belly shaking bass. This second installment of HXDB Loves features Toronto's XI which much like HXDB (in my opinion) hails to a higher standard of dubstep, bass (whateveryouwanttofuckingcallit) much like what Bombaman and the boys at Aufect are pushing. So if you want all your tunes to sound like a garburator on acid than this series isn't for you, but me telling you to not be a music-pussy goes without saying. Discovering new music is really what makes blogging about it so much fun, so I advise that you to go balls-deep. Words to live by.
