WARRIOR STEP JAMS FROM JAVIER ESTRADA

This is my introduction to Javier Estrada, he's from Monterrey, Mexico and he's a pretty talented dude. Where to start with this guy, he's all over the map, doing everything from Dubstep, Moombahton, Tribal, Huarachero and the list goes on. There will be some big news from Javier soon on a BIG release, which does not include any of these tunes, but will give us a glimpse into his madness. Here's something to get us all warmed up.

The inspirations of  Estrada's music are derived from pre-Hispanic influences, something that's huge in Mexico at the moment. You might be thinking Tribal or 3ball, something we'll be talking about on here in the very near future. This particular track could be classified as such, but heavily exploits the raw, organic energies of Afro-Bolivian Saya music rather than producing a bouncy house banger. Recently Estrada produced and mixed and entire set of raw and earthy pre-Hispanic sounds, read the GB post here.

If you thought the track about was different then you won't be surprised to hear some Apache warrior step, this track is powerful as it is haunting and bad-ass all at the same time. Not sure where this would fit in a deejay set, however this is still ahead of the curve. Nobody's thought of that yet.

And now for something with more BOUNCE and better glimpse of things to come from Javier. Tribal or 3ball's upfront Latino/House vibes is vibrant and rich, drawing influences from pre-Hispanic, Cumbia, Hurachero and many more worldly styles. It's making waves in Mexico and creeping its way across all borders. This is my small introduction to 3ball, as I'm working on bringing you closer to this magnificent sound. More 3ball jams in the future, that's a promise.
