Gameboy, one-third of Vancouver's WEPA! which is also comprised of fellow bass deejays Self Evident and Will Eede are brining something new and exciting to Vancouver's bass scene, importing Latin infused bass-music to a finicky, local night-life. This is no easy feat with a city so quick to suck-up trends faster than a drink with too much ice in it. WEPA!s following is humble but that does come with the quality of loyal supporters that sets a nice foundation for exciting things to come. With a cheeky title "I eat hipsters for breakfast" is a tight selection of nu-Cumbia rhythms that are fresh and inviting to new listeners but challenges the trendsters that may just latch on for the ride.
