Here is a nice selection of Cumbiaton tracks from Dj Broken Record out of Santa Rosa, CA. Richly layered with traditional Cumbia arrangements that are uplifting and grimy! Swinging at 90+bpm this fits right in with all the Cumbia-bass business. So wtf is Cumbiaton? Well it's like a stiff drink of two parts Cumbia and a dash of dem-bow for some extra kick. People may start looking better than usual and you potentialy might get laid. But don't hold me to that.
Broken Record remixes the likes of Moby and Clint Mansell and Phillip Glass which in turn makes this release super melodic and not just a bunch of screeching, repetitive, low-brow dutch sirens. Make sure to grab these gems!
